Our next pin guided us to the Town Hall. We had never explored this area before and so for our first visit we were not dissappointed.

As it was the christmas season Leicester had gone all out to make the town hall’s garden look festive, with an Alice in Wonderland scene, Peter Rabbit scene and of course Baby Jesus being born, we really felt the christmas spirit.

In the centre of these the town hall fountain stood proud with a base full of pennies from people making wishes. So i made a wish too :)

Although we expect it would look better in the summer rather than on a rainy december day.

We found the fountain was designed by Francis Hames who also designed the Town Hall.
