Sixth Stop- Rupert Street
On our last stop at Rupert street we were feeling pessimistic that this stop would be able to top the last one. We were right too as it was just a dark side street and all we found was a teacher’s union office. Exciting. As the rain became very heavy we walked back home, still feeling festive. Well, until we got caught in a strong rain storm, no shelter and no umbrella. As we reached home we...

Fifth Stop- Town Hall
Our next pin guided us to the Town Hall. We had never explored this area before and so for our first visit we were not dissappointed. As it was the christmas season Leicester had gone all out to make the town hall’s garden look festive, with an Alice in Wonderland scene, Peter Rabbit scene and of course Baby Jesus being born, we really felt the christmas spirit. In the centre of...

Fourth stop- Sirius Bar
The last place that I had was a Sirius Bar. At first we thought that it was closed due to the early hour, but  there were some construction workers inside so as it turns out, it wasn’t open for a while now. Shame, cause it looks very good outside. Plus we were both cold due to the weather so we could for sure use some beverage.  The workers inside looked suspiciously at us while we were posing...

Third stop- Phoenix House
My second place, that I ‘pinned’ was some undiclosed location. It was a building, just vis-a-vis Tesco but we both had no idea what it is. We tried to get inside, but the door were closed. Obviously, giving that we were on the adventure we tried the other way and succeded. The building turned out to be a Phoenix House. I don’t know if it has anything to do with Phoenix Cinema or Harry Potter but...

Second stop- Tesco Express
After being fed and watered in the Polar Bear, we trudged further into Leicester centre towards our next stop, Tesco Express on Welford Place. We thought that this stop would be one of the most boring spots our pins could have chosen but we found our walk there turned out to not be. As we arrived at our destination a huge gust of wind blew our map out of Michal’s hand, therefore we found...

First stop- Polar Bear
Firstly, we went to Polar Bear. It just so happens that I love the food there and luckily Rhiannon likes it as well, so we ordered something to eat. I got a classic burger which I am obviously were happy with, as you can see in the picture and Rhiannon got some chicken. She also seems happy, but it was not looking as nice as my burger. Polar Bear has a really cool backyard. Unfortunately we were...

This is a blog of our random journey in Leicester, armed with a map, some pins and a camera. Also with a lovely face of Rhiannon. We will try to entertain you with our adventure and make you smile with a photo of Rhiannon holding poppadon bread in Tesco Express. HAVE FUN!
